Nutella was created on May 14, 1946 by Italian pastry chef Pietro Ferrero. I say it started to be created because Nutella was first produced in the form of salmon, not cream. Her name was not Nutella, but Ginadujot, the name of one of the famous carnival characters of that time. But wait, before we get to these parts, it wouldn’t go without mentioning why Chef Pietro made Nutella.
Nutella; According to the information written on Nutella’s own website; It was developed to provide a solution to the problems experienced in cocoa supply after World War II. “If there is a problem with the cocoa supply, why is a product made mostly of cocoa?” What kind of solution can this be? “If you say, I don’t have the answer to those questions, my friends. Maybe the first formula of Nutella was not so dense in cocoa. I don’t know, but for a clear and correct answer, it is necessary to ask Pietro about them, but it does not seem possible.
As time passed, Ginadujot (Nutella) slowly began to take its current form and was no longer produced in the form of salmon, but in a spreadable form. And Ginadujot’s name has changed, but Nutella has not. Ginadujot is now called SuperCrema. Continue reading the article, friends, Super Cream Nutella will be coming soon
Although Pietro Ferrero was the first to produce Nutella, Pietro’s son Michele brought it into its current form. Michelle developed the world’s first jarable hazelnut and cocoa cream, which eventually took its place on our breakfast tables (price is debatable, of course). However, this cream still did not have a name… And at the expected moment, Nutella, which we see in the markets and sometimes on our tables, is neither Ginadujot nor Super Cream anymore. She is now remembered with the name Nutella. Starting from Germany and conquering Europe, Nutella started to show its presence in Australia after that. Although it was a little late to arrive in Turkey (1999), it has become one of the trusted and consumed brands since its arrival.
Here are a few of the reasons why Nutella moves it to such heights; product quality, maintaining the same taste since 1950, and the right marketing strategies.
